Alan Ameen
Founder and Principal Designer
Alan Ameen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree from the University of New Mexico School of Architecture, an institution accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). With over 14 years of experience in residential design, Alan has worked across multiple cities and within a variety of architectural environments, gaining a broad understanding of diverse styles, building codes, and construction practices.
Before founding ASD Design, Alan collaborated with both professional architectural firms and design-build companies, building a strong foundation in the building process, material selection, and budget management. His approach to design emphasizes a thoughtful balance between beauty and functionality, ensuring that every home is uniquely tailored to the needs and lifestyle of its residents.
Alan brings particular expertise in cabinetry and casework design, combining architectural precision with practical craftsmanship. His work is guided by a commitment to creating spaces that are both inspiring and deeply personal, reflecting the individuality of each client.
Shahad Ouji
Interior Design Lead
Shahad Ouji holds a professional Bachelor of Architecture degree and brings more than eight years of experience in residential interior design. Over the course of her career, she has contributed to high-end private homes, focusing on refined aesthetics, thoughtful material selections, and cohesive space planning. In addition to her interior work, Shahad also has experience in industrial and graphic design, particularly with steel and wood fabrication.
Her approach is rooted in creating interiors that feel both elegant and personal, paying close attention to the details that shape how spaces are lived in and experienced. Shahad’s diverse background brings depth to every project, helping to create homes that are visually rich, comfortable, and lasting.
